It's happening and it's premiering on the Net. Original web programming is coming from Netflix, Amazon, DirecTV, Discovery, of course from YouTube, Turner and MTV! Is it starting to sound familiar? The web is delivering mainstream entertainment and all the mainstream media companies are chiming in. We might call the new movement in web video as “Digital Hollywood!”

Wes Williams is the Director of Product Management focused on TV Everywhere at Scripps Networks Interactive. In the past year, he has been the product lead for authenticated video apps and sites serving Food Network, HGTV, Travel Channel, DIY Network and Cooking Channel. He has also managed the company's digital R&D team and large convergent events such as online voting for the winner of Food Network Star. Prior to joining Scripps Networks, Wes managed editorial and front-end engineering at the corporate level for multiple TV and newspaper Web sites. He has also blogged about interactive TV apps for He earned an MBA at the University of Tennessee-Knoxville and a Bachelor of Journalism degree at the University of Texas at Austin.

Kiliaen Van Rensselaer, Senior Vice President, Multi-Platform Programming, FOX: Kiliaen Van Rensselaer serves as the senior executive dedicated to growing and managing FOX's multi-platform programming, including Animation Domination High Def and WIGS. He joined FOX from News Corporation, where he was Senior Vice President of Marketing & Partnerships for Digital Media. At News Corp., Van Rensselaer helped lead strategy for digital distribution of key media properties, identified and gestated new businesses, and managed the scripted digital video entertainment venture WIGS, which launched May 2012 on YouTube and which he currently oversees at FOX. He also spearheaded negotiations with wireless carriers, mobile device OEMs and retailers for distribution agreements on behalf of many News Corp. properties, including The Wall Street Journal, Fox News, and IGN. In 2008, Van Rensselaer helped start a software and services e-reading company called Skiff that was acquired by News Corp. in 2010. Prior to Skiff, he served as Executive Director of National Marketing at AT&T Mobility (formerly Cingular Wireless), responsible for customer acquisition. While at AT&T, he was the primary marketing executive on the iPhone deal team that structured the original exclusive agreement directly with Steve Jobs, and he played a key role on the task force that collaborated with Apple for the record-breaking launch phase of the product. Van Rensselaer has also held senior marketing roles at, Colgate-Palmolive and the H.J. Heinz Company. He has a B.A. with honors from Trinity College in Hartford, CT.

Kirsten Atkinson
is a Media Director at Team One and leads national broadcast, FEP digital extensions and OOH business for Lexus. New media is certainly a familiar area to her, having led campaigns within the social TV, gaming, iTV, branded entertainment and digital OOH spaces. Most recently, Atkinson has executed programs such as NBCU Shazam and Suits Recruits social TV campaigns, first-to-market ABC mobile and iPad launch partnerships, award-winning 3-D mapping projection and a MSN/Xbox original content series. With over 13 years of experience, Atkinson is a forward-thinking media professional. Having worked on an array of clients, from Miller Brewing Co, P&G, Symantec, Mitsubishi, Nissan North America and Lexus, her experience includes national and local planning across all media channels. Ultimately, she is responsible for producing the most innovative, first-to-market and ground breaking media solutions that will help push Lexus into new territory and connect the brand to new audiences.

David Beebe, founder, David Beebe Projects: David Beebe is an entrepreneurial driven
Digital Media Executive who has founded two digital studios and has over fifteen years experience developing and producing innovative digital programming - including scripted and unscripted derivative series, original series, and live shows for internet, mobile, DVD, radio, television, and other emerging digital products and platforms. A natural storyteller, consensus builder, and collaborator, Beebe is driven by his passion for developing and producing digital content and experiences that entertain, engage, influence, and prompt conversation with consumers. Beebe's track record exemplifies his proven ability to successfully setup, launch, and lead new organizations; identify deficiencies and potential opportunities; and develop innovative and cost-effective solutions for enhancing competitiveness and increasing revenues. Beebe is currently Vice President & General Manager, Digital Studio, at FishBowl Worldwide Media. He founded the digital studio organization with FishBowl's President & CEO Bruce Gersh and Chairman Vin Di Bona. Beebe is responsible for leading all digital studio activities, including creative, production, strategy, operations, and P&L management. The digital studio includes among its projects the hit web series, CuteWinFail, which is ranked in the YouTube Comedy Channel Top 20 with more than 25 million video views, Ultimate Proposal, an original series for Yahoo!, and the animated web series The Potts.

John Corpus, co-founder and CEO, Milyoni: John Corpus, CEO, Milyoni: (pronounced “million-eye”), the leader in social entertainment. Known for his passion and commitment to the business, John and his co-founders built the company based on a vision to transform the way in which consumers watch entertainment content on social networks. John led the company to achieve multiple industry “firsts” starting with the first full-length film to be streamed on Facebook. Today Milyoni works with major Hollywood studios, music labels, brands, and artists from around the globe to deliver compelling online entertainment experiences with interactive social elements. Previously John was Chief Information Officer and Senior Vice President of Mervyn's, LLC in which he oversaw the development and implementation of Mervyns' overall information technology strategy and team. He also served as Vice President of Information Technology at Williams-Sonoma, Inc. where he was responsible for Call Center, Distribution, Merchandising and Marketing Systems. His industry experience includes retail banking, retail distribution, telecommunications, and media. John also serves on the board of the International Rett Syndrome Association. John received his Bachelor of Science from the San Diego State University in Information Technology.

Mehul Nagrani is senior vice president & general manager, Digital, Univision Communications Inc., the leading media company serving Hispanic America. In this capacity, he leads efforts surrounding UVideos and Digital Music, and works closely with Univision Network and Univision Radio to lead the development and implementation of Uforia, Univision's digital music strategy. Nagrani's responsibilities include leadership of Univision's Product and Technology teams, as well as Revenue Operations and Analytics. He also works closely with the Content organization to ensure that Univision achieves the optimal content mix of long-form and short-form content to reach our audience in new and innovative ways. Additionally, Nagrani works closely with Univision's Sales and Finance teams. Mr. Nagrani most recently served as special assistant to the CEO. He was a key member of the leadership team driving cross-divisional initiatives and collaboration across Univision. While at the Office of the CEO, he created a program to attract young leaders to work at Univision and many of these executives now have roles in Programming, Distribution, Social Media and Ad Sales. Prior to joining Univision in 2011, Mr. Nagrani worked within the Media/Tech practice at McKinsey and also designed memory chips at Micron and processors at Intel.

Bruce Eisen, founder and president, Digital Advisor: a digital distribution consulting firm advising
a broad range of clients, ranging from start-ups to Fortune 500 companies whose clients have included Twentieth Century Fox, Blockbuster, Technicolor, Zoran Corp. and Juniper Networks. Most recently Eisen was the Vice President Online Content Development & Strategy for DISH Network where he was responsible for the strategy and implementation of the company's on-demand, online and Internet based initiatives. To that end, Eisen launched DISH's TV Everywhere offering, making television content available to its subscribers on a variety of devices including computers, tablets and SmartPhones. Eisen successfully negotiated license agreements with most of the major broadcast and cable television networks, licensing over 20,000 television shows for on-demand distribution on and related iPad, iPhone and Android apps. Eisen devised and implemented the company's SVOD strategy to compete with Netflix, launching DISH's Kids/Family SVOD offering which includes over 3,000 pieces of content including Thomas the Train, Barney, Heathcliff, Strawberry Shortcake, VeggieTales and Jim Henson property content. Eisen was a key member of the executive team to develop and implement the company's movie SVOD offering, Blockbuster@Home which includes early window content from Sony, Disney and Paramount. Eisen negotiated affiliation agreements with Starz, Showtime, Sony Movie Channel and other broadcast and cable networks for carriage of those linear and on-demand offerings on the DISH satellite system. In addition, Eisen acquired on-demand rights from the major Hollywood studios including VOD/EST/SVOD rights for distribution across multiple platforms including set-top boxes,, iPad, iPhone and Android devices. Eisen was one of the principals who started CinemaNow in 1999 and grew the company from a three person operation to a fifty person company. In connection therewith, Eisen negotiated five rounds of venture financing totaling in excess of $40 million with companies including Microsoft, Blockbuster, EchoStar and Cisco. Eisen was responsible for day-to-day operations of the company and for all of CinemaNow's business development and legal activities. In that capacity he successfully negotiated CinemaNow's agreements with over 200 content licensors including such major Hollywood studios as Warner Brothers, MGM, 20th Century Fox, Sony, Paramount, Universal, and The Walt Disney Company. In addition, Eisen brought great success to the company, spearheading distribution and marketing partnerships with MSN, AT&T, Best Buy and other globally-recognized companies including HP, Creative, Archos, Sandisk and Linksys. Prior to joining CinemaNow, Eisen served as senior vice president of the Production/Business Affairs Department for Trimark Pictures, Inc. Eisen's responsibilities included negotiating Trimark's film production and distribution agreements. In that capacity, Eisen worked with the Walt Disney Company, Miramax, The Samuel Goldwyn Company, Columbia Pictures, HBO and others. On the production front, Eisen structured Trimark's relationships with the Screen Actors Guild, the Directors Guild of America, the Writers Guild of America as well as such talent as Samuel L. Jackson, Renee Zellweger, Peter Jackson and Jim Belushi, amongst others. Eisen's experience in the legal arena of the entertainment industry is matched by his creative endeavors. His producing credits include cult genre favorites “Warlock: The End of Innocence,” starring Bruce Payne, “The Dentist 2,” starring Corbin Bernsen “Leprechaun in the Hood,” starring Warwick Davis and Ice-T as well as two films based on Stephen King properties, “Trucks,” and “Sometimes They Come Back For More.” In addition, he shares a writing credit on “Warlock: The End of Innocence,” the third installment in the popular series.
