Josette Bonte, the Chief Strategy Officer, USC CTM: where she is in charge of ind
ustry relations and overseeing the Institute's research programs. Bonte, an industry veteran and expert in digital media and filmed entertainment, spent the first 11 years of her career as a film and television industry executive in Hollywood, and the past 17 years in the fields of telecom, interactive television, broadband content, and online games. Bonte joins the CTM from Cisco where she served as Executive Digital Media Strategist for the Internet Business Solutions Group's Global Media & Entertainment Practice. Prior to Cisco, Bonte was the Vice President of Digital Media at Cookie Jar Entertainment-producers of acclaimed children's TV series, including Arthur, Caillou, Zaboomafoo, The Doodlebops and Johnny Test. She also served as Vice President of Content and IPTV for Ovum, working on IPTV content deployment strategies with service provider clients including AT&T, Verizon, France Telecom, and BT. A telco TV pioneer, in 1994 Bonte joined then US West (now CenturyLink) as Head of Strategic Marketing, Entertainment, and Interactive services, where she participated in the company's early interactive media and video-on-demand trials, soon becoming the company's liaison to the Hollywood entertainment industry for content strategy. In the late 1980s, Josette served as Executive Director of Unifrance Film, where she represented the French motion picture and television industries in Hollywood. She subsequently founded EuroScreen Partners, a film production and distribution company where she served as CEO. Bonte has an M.F.A from the UCLA School of Film and Television, and a Ph.D. in telecommunications and new media from the Sorbonne. She is the author of the best-seller book La Television a la Carte aux Etat-Unis.

Campbell Foster, Director of Product Marketing, Video Solutions, Adobe: Campbell F
oster is the director of product marketing for Adobe Video Solutions, leading global efforts to drive adoption of Adobe's video publishing, monetization and optimization technologies. Prior to Adobe, Campbell led global product marketing for Google DoubleClick, managing ad serving, video, RTB, and rich media products. He served as a founding member of the DoubleClick Ad Exchange management team. Campbell earned a MBA from NYU Stern School of Business and received a BA in English from Cornell University. He was recently a speaker at the 2013 NAB Show, MIPTV, and the TV of Tomorrow Show. Campbell is also dedicated to exploring the intersection between technology and BBQ, and is actively developing the world's first automated barbecue smoking hygrometer.

Michael Alexander, Strategy & Growth Initiatives, IBM Global Telecommunications Industry: Michael Alexander has more than 30 years of systems development experience in all aspects of the information technology business. Currently, Alexander is global solutions architect for SPST (service provider strategic transformation) in IBM's global telecom solutions. He consults with clients globally as an NGN telco subject matter expert (SME) and as a technical leader in VoIP solutions. In addition, Alexander is responsible for the development of telco technical NGN and specifically for VoIP solutions developed by IBM for U.S. clients AT&T, BellSouth, Qwest, SBC & Verizon. He was previously the IT architect profession executive and enterprise architecture practice lead for business innovation services, Australia/New Zealand. Before joining IBM, Alexander was technical partner & chief architect in the solutions integration practice at AT&T Solutions. He was responsible for the development of solution architectures that ensured successful engagements with all clients. Previously, Alexander worked at Unisys for 22 years and was the chief architect for Unisys' global systems integration practice. He has previously spoken on digital media topics at TM Forum Americas and TM Forum Nice.

Uday Navile, Vice President, Communication and Media Solutions, NTT DATA, Inc.: Uday Navile is a seasoned management and technology consulting executive with specialized focus on providing innovative, transformational and cost effective solutions for global clients in Telecommunications, Media and Entertainment industries. With over 20 years of professional experience in technical and management consulting roles, Uday has worked with leading global brands in M&E, Telecom and Pay TV segments while holding leadership positions at IBM, Hughes Networks, Verizon (formerly, Bell Atlantic), Hughes STX Corporation and Texas Instruments in USA and India. Most recently Uday spent close to 13 years at IBM where he held several sales and delivery leadership roles including as an Associate Partner in Communications Sector at IBM US leading the Smarter Media growth play and managing several marquee client accounts, and as the Vice President for Media & Entertainment services at IBM India and South Asia where he started and built the M&E practice from 2007 thru 2010 from a nascent business to one of IBM India's top three industries. He has also participated as a panelist and speaker in several Media & Entertainment industry external conferences. Uday possesses a deep understanding of the "as is" processes in Telecom and M&E segments for the entire Digital Content Ecosystem (Content Acquisition and Production through Distribution and Archiving) for Broadcast Television, Pay TV (terrestrial, cable and satellite operators), Print and Publication, Filmed Entertainment and Mobile segments. His specialization includes conceptualizing new business models for media companies to maximize on monetizing existing content in new consumption channels including OTT and non-linear syndication. Uday has also led the design and rollout of new solutions that leverage the power of cloud computing to address the massive storage and media processing needs in M&E ecosystems (Media Clouds). Uday currently holds the position of a Vice President at NTT DATA, with specific focus on leading the Communication and Media industry solutions competency. In this role, Uday has been responsible for defining the Point of Views for the various segments within the Communication and Media industries as well as managing the portfolio of solutions to help inject innovation into the industry processes within these segments. Uday lives in the Greater Washington metropolitan area (since 1993) and enjoys reading, watching movies and sports (NFL, NBA and Cricket).

Vamshi Sriperumbudur, VP, Platform Product Marketing, YuMe: Vamshi is a data-driven marketing executive with over 18 years of excellence in developing market strategy, launching solutions across industries, positioning companies as market leaders, building significant customer base, and driving revenue growth. Vamshi heads up marketing & strategy for the multiscreen video ad platform business of YuMe. Prior to YuMe, he was the VP of marketing and product management at the Artiman funded startup Dyyno, a cloud-based TV Everywhere platform streaming TV & movies on iPad, Android, PC, Samsung Smart TV, and Roku. Prior to Dyyno, Vamshi was the acting VP of marketing at various cloud computing startups including: marketing automation SaaS Market2Lead acquired by Oracle, Sequoia-funded Cast Iron Systems PaaS acquired by IBM, and Norwest & Bay Partners funded app API platform Sonoa Systems (now Apigee). Prior to that, Vamshi was the director of product marketing at BPM and middleware pioneer Vitria, which went IPO in 1999. Earlier in his career Vamshi was a management consultant at the public company Sabre, where he led airline solutions implementations. Vamshi has a master's degree in computer science from the University of Texas at Arlington. He is an active member of TiE Silicon Valley and co-chaired marketing for recent TiEcon's. Vamshi is a regular speaker at conferences, authored several articles and whitepapers, and is quoted in over 100 media / analyst articles and video interviews.

Jonathan Hurd, Director, Altman Vilandrie & Company: Jonathan Hurd joined Altman Vi
landrie & Company in 2006. He has more than 20 years of consulting and industry experience in communications, media and related technology sectors. Jonathan's primary areas of expertise include business and marketing strategy, new business creation and launch, integrated consumer and business services, and customer and sales channel segmentation and targeting. Jonathan's experience in the IPTV realm includes customer targeting, partner evaluation, demand modeling, and business case development. With unique insight into competitive trends and consumer perceptions about content and communications services, Jonathan works with clients to develop differentiated video strategies. Jonathan's extensive marketing background enables him to recommend product and marketing strategies that resonate with target audiences as IP-delivered video moves towards broad adoption. Prior to joining Altman Vilandrie & Company, Jonathan was a Vice President with ADVENTIS. Before that, he was a Partner in the Communication, Information and Entertainment practice of Mercer Management Consulting. Jonathan has also served as Vice President of Marketing for a computer peripherals manufacturer, and has held marketing and strategic planning positions at Lotus Development Corporation. In addition, he has served as a software development product manager in industries including financial services, computer peripherals, video game development and management consulting. Jonathan earned a B.S. in Computer Science and Engineering from M.I.T., and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.
