Wendell Wenjen is director of Smart TV Advertising and Interactive TV Platforms for LG Electronics. Since joining LG in 2010, he has been responsible for strategy, business development, and partnerships for LG's US Smart TV advertising and interactive TV initiatives. He led the strategy and implementation of the LG's first Smart TV advertising service which launched in the US in November 2011 and has led LG's market development for interactive TV services. He has discussed how Smart TV's have opened new opportunities for content producers, networks and advertisers at a variety of events including Advertising Week, TV of Tomorrow, Digital Hollywood, iMedia Video Summit, Digiday Brand Summit, NATPE Pitchcon and Videonuze Online Video Advertising Summit. Prior to LG, Wendell held a variety of marketing and business development leadership roles in the technology industry including Intel Corporation, Acer and Flextronics. Wendell holds bachelors of science and masters of engineering degrees in electrical and computer engineering from Harvey Mudd College and an MBA in marketing from the UCLA Anderson School.




KENNETH HERTZ, is a Senior Partner in the Beverly Hills law firm of Hertz and L
ichtenstein LLP. Ken and his partners specialize in representing talent and new media companies in the sports and entertainment industries. The firm's clients include Will, Jada, Willow and Jaden Smith, No Doubt, Gwen Stefani, The Black Eyed Peas, will.i.am, Keith Richards, Herbie Hancock, Jason Mraz, Britney Spears, Janet Jackson, David Blaine, Shaun White and Wayne Gretzky. Prior to joining the firm, Ken was in charge of music -- business and legal affairs - for The Walt Disney Company. Ken is also a principal in Membrain - an entertainment marketing and strategy consulting firm. Membrain consults a number of firms engaged in businesses operating in the entertainment content, fashion, technology and marketing industries (Membrain's clients include Hasbro, McDonald's, Intel, MillerCoors, The Marketing Store, Li & Fung and Coty). Ken is a frequent speaker and commentator on the subjects of entertainment, marketing and convergence, is often quoted in the New York Times, Los Angeles Times, and Wall Street Journal, has appeared on CNBC's monthly newsmagazine “Business Nation,” has been an instructor at UCLA's Anderson Graduate School of Management, and an adjunct professor of law at USC.




Mara Winokur, Senior Vice President, Digital, Starz: Mara Winokur is the lead e
xecutive for Starz Digital Media, overseeing the strategy, operation and execution of the digital businesses and initiatives supporting Starz' various film, television and digital-only content properties. Winokur and her team manage digital distribution, licensing, syndication, content and vendor relationships across a wide array of partners and distributors ranging from traditional cable/satellite/telco multichannel video affiliates to internet/mobile distributors to game and social media developers/publishers to consumer electronics companies. The video content Starz Digital Media distributes and markets ranges from theatrical features to short-form animation from each of Starz' various business units including: Starz Entertainment (pay television), Anchor Bay Entertainment (home entertainment), Manga Entertainment (Japanese Anime) and Film Roman (animation). In addition to Winokur's business development responsibilities, she also handles operational activities for the Starz Media digital team, including coordinating release schedules, managing content delivery, adjusting pricing and tracking and reporting financial results Winokur served previously as vice president, digital media and business development. Prior to joining Starz Media, Winokur was the Senior Director of Digital Business Development at EMI Music Entertainment. In this role, Winokur led the team responsible for evaluating business proposals; structuring and negotiating deal terms; and executing agreements in the online and mobile spaces. She also analyzed developing digital trends and advised on new product strategies and business models. Before her position at EMI, Winokur was a Director of New Technology Business Development at Sony BMG Entertainment, coordinating new media deals across territories and guiding regional sales and marketing teams in assessing business development opportunities. In addition, Winokur assisted in analyzing new technology solutions such as anti-piracy, watermarking, and digital formatting. Winokur has also worked in New Media Strategy at The McGraw-Hill Companies, Strategic Alliances at Palm, Inc., and has consulted with several Silicon Valley companies. Winokur received her MBA with honors in Strategy and Finance from the University of Chicago's Graduate School of Business and her BA in Communications and Psychology from Stanford University.

John Piontkowski, General Manager, Eastern Region, Microsoft Advertising: With more than 20 years of professional sales and sales management experience in technology and digital media, John Piontkowski is the General Manager of Sales for Microsoft Advertising's Eastern Region. John is responsible for leading all of the advertising sales teams in New York, Boston and Atlanta that include both agency and Client direct accounts in Financial Services, Entertainment, CPG and Technology. His team of sales professionals sell all aspects of Microsoft Advertising's solutions to accounts such as American Express, E*Trade, Warner Brothers, Discovery Channel, Colgate, and Dell Computer Corporation, among others. Prior to moving over to the digital advertising division, John was part of the Enterprise and Partner Group at Microsoft, providing software solutions to fortune 500 companies focused on e-commerce, business intelligence and corporate intranets. John holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Villanova University and resides in Connecticut with his wife and two children.





Christina Martin, CEO, Backstage Artist Lounge: Adventurous and independent, Christina grew up dancing and riding horses in the rural aryland suburbs of Washington D.C. The eldest of four, Christina was the “trail blazer” in the family, always leading the way and excited to discover new experiences. At age 19, she enrolled in an Adventure Sports Institute to train in wilderness survival, rock climbing, military orienteering and snowboarding. Following that, Christina attended the University of Colorado at Boulder, earning a B.A. in International Affairs. CU studies abroad took her to Spain: Granada, Madrid, Barcelona and a tiny village of Cabra de Santo Cristo. Christina's professional career began with an assignment to the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System, launching her into the finance industry. Conducting research under Greenspan's head of International Finance, Christina was recruited to trade derivatives for Charles Schwab headquarters, where she learned the ropes in equity markets and hedging strategies. September 11th came and so did the dot com crash in the bay area. Christina headed down to Santa Barbara to work for a $200 million hedge fund, but was quickly scooped up by the $10 billion fixed income fund from Bermuda, Starbuck Tisdale & Williams. At STW, Christina led investor relations across Ireland, Scotland, England, France, Monaco, Canada and all US territories. She became the firm's international ambassador, raising $2 billion in new assets before she was even old enough to rent a car. Also during this time, Christina earned her VFR Private Pilot License from Red Baron Aviation at Santa Barbara Airport. During a stint in the UK, Christina founded Equity Strategic Relations with senior studio execs at Pinewood Studios, where Christina's love interest at the time, Gerry Butler, was busy shooting the film, “Phantom.” From there, Christina's new company became a central force at Sundance, Toronto and other film festivals. Front row to LA and NY fashion weeks, Christina was swept into the world of Emmys, Oscars, Globes, VMAS and Grammys. In 2007, Christina traveled to Venice with Emilio Estevez, Lindsay Lohan, Freddy Rodriguez and Christian Slater. To date, Christina's philanthropic work has included Make a Wish, Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, Covenant House of California, Clothes Off Our Back, LACMA, Sound Art and City Of Hope, which funds translational research in the battle to find cures for cancer. Christina's emphasis on giving back is the reason Backstage Artist Lounge benefits multiple charities every tour date. Also a leading California fundraiser for Senator Hillary Clinton during the primaries, Christina co-hosted Clinton's young Hollywood events with Christina Aguilera, Penelope Cruz, Will I Am, Ben Silverman, Bret Ratner, Jeremy Piven and Ron Burkle. Christina has been featured in L.A. Business Journal, Cosmo, Wealth TV, Entertainment Tonight, Celebrity Justice, 944 Magazine, Ego Magazine, Free Magazine, Revolver Magazine, Skinnie Magazine, VH1, L.A. Confidential, Metal Assault, various newspapers and Variety. In 2009, Christina hosted the monthly Beverly Hills Luncheon Circle at the Peninsula of Beverly Hills, and her business leadership also landed her a seat at the table of Forbes Women of Power dinner. Christina is currently completing her 2011 Backstage Artist Lounge™ Tour.

Manish Agarwal, CEO, Reliance Entertainment Digital has over 15 years of industry experience, with six years dedicated to the digital industry. His expertise in the digital space ranges across consumer marketing, product development, developer evangelism and digital monetization, which makes him the right leader for this new-age digital venture from the Reliance ADA Group where he directs a young team of creative wizards for a group of digital platform based businesses that include Reliance Games, Zapak & BigFlix. Manish holds a Bachelors Degree from the National Institute of Technology (NIT) Warangal, India along with an MBA from the prestigious Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad (IIM-A), India.















David Chinnici, Director, JWT/Mindshare Atlanta: Dave is currently the Media Director and Mindshare lead for the United States Marine Corps, based out of the JWT/Mindshare Atlanta office. In this role, Dave leads all facets of the USMC's Paid Media program, including the oversight of the Marine Corps' partnerships with Google, NCAA, NBA, Xbox, and the UFC. Dave also was Co-Executive Producer for the Marine Corps' first “Semper Fidelis All-American Game” that aired live on January 3rd, 2012. For their work, his team has been the recipient of multiple industry awards, including three Effies in the last three years. Dave joined Mindshare's New York office in 2002. His previous experience included time on the Bristol-Myers Squibb account, where his contributions were instrumental in launching both Abilify and Orencia. He also has diversified category experience in Consumer Packaged Goods, Financial Markets, Luxury Goods, and Telecom. Dave received a B.S. in Advertising and Public Relations from Ithaca College.

Jeffrey Binder, General Partner, Genovation Capital: Jeffrey Binder was most recently a senior executive with Motorola, serving as Senior Director Strategy and M&A and GM of its On Demand Solutions group. In addition to day-to-day operations of the 150+ person on-demand solutions group with offices in the US, Europe and Asia, Mr. Binder spearheaded several key initiatives within the office of the CEO, as well as driving the companies worldwide on-demand video business and M&A strategy. Mr. Binder has been named as, one of eight Next Generation Leaders by MultiChannel News, Top 100 Heavy Hitters by CableFax Magazine and one of 40 under 40 by the Boston Business Journal. Prior to Motorola, Mr. Binder founded Broadbus Technologies, which was sold to Motorola in 2006 for nearly $200 Million. Broadbus pioneered the concept of television on-demand using advance memory technology and became the leading supplier of video streams in 2006. It was at Broadbus where Messrs. Binder and Bisceglia as President and CEO respectively, went on to engineer on of New England's top ten exits since the tech bubble of '99. At Broadbus Binder set the bar for start-ups, creating an advisory board of the top technologists and media players in North America, including the CTO's of Charter, Cablevision, Rogers, Cox, Liberty Media and Time Warner. The advisory board also included David Fellows, CTO of Comcast the COO of Nickelodeon (Board Member), the President of Paramount Television and the President of Warner Domestic Television. Mr. Binder was Chairman and CEO of the Leading Golf Companies from 1996-2000, then the largest marketing and technology network of high-end golf courses in North America including Mauna Lani, Pebble Beach and Pinehurst. LGC was an outgrowth of incubator Nanosoft, which was an offshore development start-up founded by Mr. Binder 1995 to incubate young technology companies in China. Prior to Leading Golf, Mr. Binder led Magic Music's rapid growth as the largest provider of digital duplicating technology to record industry from 1991-1994 to companies including Capitol Records, MCA Records, Philips NV and Polygram. Mr. Binder has been an investing and trading professional since he became a Member of the Chicago Board of Trade in 1987. Mr. Binder has attended Harvard University as an undergrad with a concentration in Environmental Management.
